Description
The Federated States of Micronesia Department of Transportation, Communications & Infrastructure (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the OKAT Well Rehabilitation, KOSRAE project. Bids will be received at the offices of the FSM Department of Transportation, Communications & Infrastructure, Project Management Unit located at FSM National Government, Palikir, Pohnpei, FSM 96941, until Wednesday May 6th 2026 at 4pm local time in Pohnpei. Scope of Work includes: 1. Rehabilitation of Well Chlorinator Building, pumps, control, piping and fence. 2. Painting Works for Ceiling, Interior and Exterior Wall Finishes. 3. Removal of dirt, plants and vegetation on existing roof slab of Chlorinator Building. 4. Waterproofing application of roof slab and concrete canopy. 5. Replacement on existing water leak pipe. 6. Repair of chain-link fence gate, mesh chain, stretcher bar and provision of gate handle bar and pad lock mechanism. 7. Epoxy painting works of chain link fence mesh and frame. 8. Cleaning, removal of grass and laying of aggregate base course on pump area. 9. Refurbishment of electrical conduits, wiring, switches and lights. 10. Replacement of rustic electrical panel board and installation of new two (2) units distribution board. 11. Provision of two (2) new canopy above the electrical panel board. 12. Replacement and installation of two (2) unit pressure relief valve, pressure gauge assembly and complete piping system. 13. Painting of steel doors and door jamb. 14. Replacement and installation of new door lockset. 15. Provision of new electrical automatic switch ON/OFF timer. 16. Provision of pipe saddle in Okat Bridge for 3/4" O for future use. 17. Purchase and supply of two (2) units 5 Hp stainless steel deep well submersible pump motor with control box. 18. All works shall be undertaken in accordance with the standard engineering specifications and workmanship that dictates good engineering practice. 19. Clean-up project area and clean adjacent structures and improvements of dust, dirt, and debris. 20. Contractor must observe and be responsible for the HS&E requirements for all workers at all times. 21. This scope of works must always be read in conjunction with other Bidding package and documents in relation to this project. Expected project duration: 92 calendar days.
